According to the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station on April 21, a 112 emergency call was received at 3:47 p.m. that day, reporting, “I found my missing sister’s car in a public parking lot in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and I think my sister is inside the vehicle.”
Upon responding to the call, police discovered a skeletonized body in the vehicle, believed to be a woman in her 60s, identified as Ms. A. The vehicle had been left in the parking lot for a considerable time, and it was found that the authorities had contacted Ms. A's sibling, who is a co-owner of the vehicle, to request its removal.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances, noting that there is a record of a prior missing person report filed by the family regarding Ms. A. A police official stated, “No evidence of foul play has been found,” adding, “We are continuing to investigate the specific details of the case.”
