Beltone Hearing Aids: Premium Models 'Serene' and 'Boost Ultra' Selected as Government Reimbursement Products
Beltone, a global hearing care brand, announced that its latest innovative model 'Serene' and the advanced-power hearing aid 'Boost Ultra' have been selected as "Hearing Aids for the Disabled Eligible for Health Insurance Reimbursement" under the Ministry of Health and Welfare's official notification.
Through this notification, individuals registered with hearing disabilities can now receive a subsidy of up to 1,110,000 won from the National Health Insurance Service when purchasing these products. This support enables them to purchase premium hearing aids equipped with the latest technology at a reasonable price. Notably, the new reimbursement lineup is tailored to offer an optimal fit for each user's listening environment, degree of hearing loss, and activity level, featuring a customized selection that ranges from completely-in-the-canal (CIC), in-the-canal (ITC), receiver-in-the-ear (RIE), to behind-the-ear (BTE) types.
The core of this lineup, the 'Serene,' is Beltone's latest model that incorporates cutting-edge technology and provides a wide array of options based on wearer preferences. It includes ultra-compact CIC models that are barely visible, as well as lightweight and comfortable microRIE open-fit types, allowing users to choose the form best suited to their listening environment. In terms of performance, 'Serene' is the industry's first to feature Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, enabling users to receive crystal-clear audio signals from public venues such as airports and theaters directly through their hearing aid. The device also offers innovative sound processing that reduces background noise while making conversations sound clearer.
'Boost Ultra,' designed for those with profound hearing loss who require powerful amplification, delivers overwhelming power and clear sound quality simultaneously. Its robust amplification ensures that even faint sounds are not missed, while its feedback cancellation function effectively blocks the high-pitched whistling (feedback) that often occurs at high output. Furthermore, the 'Crosslink Directionality 2' technology helps users focus on desired conversations even in complex listening environments. With its durable IP68-rated dust and water resistance, the device is built to last, and smartphone connectivity allows for convenient calls and music streaming.
Beltone stated, "With the inclusion of these products in the reimbursement program, more people with hearing loss can now choose the hearing aid that perfectly fits their hearing condition and preferences without financial burden. From ultra-compact models to powerful high-output devices, Beltone's complete lineup will play a significant role in helping people with hearing loss regain their precious daily lives."
