Gyeonggi Provincial Library to Host 'Youth Opportunity Studio' Open Event on April 18
On April 18, Gyeonggi Provincial Library will open the 'Youth Opportunity Studio', a workspace for young creators in the province, to the public and host the 'Open Studio Day', an event where visitors can directly interact with the artists.
The Youth Opportunity Studio is a digital content creation space located on the 5th floor of Gyeonggi Provincial Library. It is operated to provide workspaces and support creative activities for young creators aged 19 to 39 residing in the province. Currently, four resident artists are active in various fields, including artificial intelligence (AI) media art, webtoons, animation, and AI platform development.
Open Studio Day has been organized in celebration of Library Week (April 12–18) to open up the creative space, which is usually not accessible to the public, allowing residents to experience the artists' work processes firsthand.

One of the main programs is a relay session featuring all four artists. Starting at 1 p.m., there will be lectures and mentoring sessions where the artists—Kim Gabin (media art), Moon Hyojin (webtoons), Song Yejin (animation), and Cho Sungwoo (AI platform development)—will share their methods and insights for each field in turn.
The relay program is available to those who register in advance. Detailed schedules and registration information can be found on the Gyeonggi Provincial Library website (library.kr).
