Daegu-Gyeongbuk Economic Zone Authority Recruiting 10 Companies for Türkiye Trade Delegation
The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Economic Zone Authority (Acting Commissioner Kang Sanggi) announced on April 16 that, together with the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairperson Park Yoonkyung), it is recruiting companies to join the "2026 DGFEZ Türkiye Trade Delegation" in order to help resident companies establish a foothold in the European and Middle Eastern markets.
This delegation will visit Istanbul, the economic center of Türkiye, and Ankara, the administrative capital, for seven days and five nights from September 6 to 12. On-site, the program will include one-on-one export consultations, market entry strategy seminars, and visits to major industrial complexes, all designed to build business networks.
Approximately 10 companies currently operating or planning to operate within the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Economic Free Zone will be selected for participation, with priority given to those in core strategic industries such as ICT and robotics, medical and bio, and future mobility.
The selected companies will receive support in discovering and matching with potential buyers, the provision of consultation venues and transportation, and one interpreter per company. In particular, to ease the financial burden on participating companies, partial support for airfare and accommodation will be provided for one person per company.
Companies wishing to participate should complete the application documents posted on the websites of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Economic Zone Authority and the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and submit them by email by May 8.
