Gyeonggi Rivera Orchestra to Host Rehearsal Open Studio on the 17th
The Gyeonggi Rivera Orchestra will host the rehearsal showcase program "Remember's Day Open Studio" on April 17 at the Open Stage of the Gyeonggi Arts Center.
This event is designed to share not only the completed performance but also the process of music-making with residents of Gyeonggi Province by opening the orchestra’s actual rehearsal to the public.
Visitors will be able to witness behind-the-scenes moments up close, including the members’ repeated practice and coordination, the conductor’s direction, and sectional rehearsals—experiences that are rarely seen during a finished performance. This allows the audience to experience the orchestra’s growth and the dynamics of the rehearsal site more vividly.
In particular, this event holds special meaning as it is the first participatory program to be introduced since the reorganization of the supporters’ group “Remember’s (Li+Members).”
Remember’s is a supporters’ group built on the sponsorship and participation of Gyeonggi Province residents, accompanying the Gyeonggi Rivera Orchestra on its journey in various ways beyond simply attending performances. This is a participation-based sponsorship system designed to foster the orchestra’s growth together with the community.
This Open Studio is open not only to existing supporters but also to new members, allowing even more residents to experience the music and development of the Rivera Orchestra up close.

Additionally, small gifts will be prepared for pre-registered attendees, further enhancing the participatory aspect of the program.
During this Open Studio, rehearsals will be held for a diverse repertoire including Bizet's "Farandole," Saint-Saens' "Danse Macabre," the 1st and 4th movements of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture," and Tchaikovsky's "Slavonic March."
