The center provides preventive health services in locations close to residents' daily lives.
More than 60 people attended the opening ceremony, including Mayor Bang Sehwan, heads of local organizations in Shinhyeon-dong, and local residents, to commemorate the opening of the center. The event included an unveiling ceremony and group photo session. In addition, a resident participation program called the "Five Major Health Living Practice Promotion Booths" was operated during the event.
The promotion booths featured a variety of practical health programs, including performances to pledge lifelong non-smoking and moderate drinking, posture measurement and exercise guidance, atopy and asthma consultations through skin moisture measurement, guidance on proper handwashing for infection prevention, and information about customized maternal and child health projects for pregnancy and childbirth.
Mayor Bang Sehwan stated, "I hope that the Shinhyeon Health Living Support Center will become a space that supports the healthy daily lives of local residents up close," adding, "We will continue to provide ongoing support to ensure that everyone can enjoy high-quality health services."
