IBK Investment & Securities Wins Compliance Award for Second Consecutive Year
IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 25th that it has proven its expertise in internal controls by winning an award at the Korea Exchange Excellent Compliance Awards for the second consecutive year.
At the Korea Exchange 2025 Excellent Compliance Awards, IBK Investment & Securities received both the Grand Prize for Best Corporation and the Individual Award for Excellence in Maintaining and Contributing to Fair Trade Order. The company also received the Best Practice Corporation Award and the Individual Award at the 2024 ceremony last year.
The Korea Exchange annually evaluates member firms’ internal control activities—including compliance monitoring systems, regulatory compliance, and prevention of improper orders—to select the winners of the Excellent Compliance Awards.
Since Seo Jeonghak took office as CEO in 2023, IBK Investment & Securities has actively worked to strengthen its internal controls. After acquiring certification for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001), established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in 2024, the company has maintained this standard to date. Last year, it also introduced the “IBKS Customized Accountability Structure” ahead of schedule.
IBK Investment & Securities has elevated the Internal Control Committee to be under the board of directors and is currently working to improve efficiency for ongoing internal control monitoring and the advancement of anti-money laundering operations.
