Inje County to Swiftly Execute 264.4 Billion Won in Local Fiscal Budget in First Half to Boost Regional Economy
Inje County in Gangwon Province will accelerate the swift execution of its local fiscal budget in the first half of this year to boost the local economy and support the livelihoods of residents.
Based on the initial budget for this year, Inje County’s total budget amounts to 668.5 billion won. Out of this, the county plans to execute 264.4 billion won early, which is 53.3% of the 496.4 billion won designated for management in the first half.
During the first half of the year, the county will prioritize projects that have a significant impact on the local economy and domestic demand, identified through its own evaluation process.
In particular, fiscal expenditures will focus on large-scale investment projects, such as the restoration of the Seohwa District’s flood-prone living areas, installation of public livestock manure treatment facilities, creation of the Inje-eup Urban Life Park, construction of the Inje Sports Complex, and establishment of the Baekdudaegan Nature Stay Healing Center.
To this end, the county will establish department-specific execution plans early, regularly monitor the progress of each project, and actively utilize related systems such as emergency bidding and advance payments to speed up implementation.
Additionally, a Rapid Execution Task Force led by Deputy County Governor Yoon Injae will oversee the integrated management of execution statuses across the main office, towns, townships, and public enterprises. The county will swiftly resolve any challenges that arise and strengthen its management system to ensure there are no setbacks in achieving its goals.
