BNK Kyongnam Bank Signs Tripartite Agreement to Strengthen Tourism Welfare in Gyeongnam

BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on March 24 that it has signed a "Joint Cooperation Agreement for the Training of Gyeongnam-style Tourism Companion Managers and Promotion of Barrier-Free Tourism" with the Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation and the Gyeongnam Tourism Association.

View original imageThe signing ceremony for the agreement, held at the Gyeongnam Tourism Enterprise Support Center, was attended by Heo Jonggu, Deputy President of BNK Kyongnam Bank; Bae Jongcheon, CEO of the Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation; Yoon Youngho, President of the Gyeongnam Tourism Association; as well as approximately 40 participants including instructors and trainees from the first Tourism Companion Manager training program.
This agreement was established to expand regional tourism welfare and improve travel accessibility for vulnerable groups in tourism. Through this agreement, the parties plan to enhance the quality of tourism in Gyeongnam and create an environment where everyone can enjoy tourism comfortably.
The three organizations will cooperate in various areas, including: △ training of tourism companion managers for local talent in Gyeongnam △ participation in and support for barrier-free tourism projects △ discovering and promoting accessible tourist destinations in Gyeongnam △ and implementing joint cooperation projects to expand tourism welfare.
Under the agreement, BNK Kyongnam Bank will provide budget support and promotion, the Gyeongnam Tourism Foundation will be responsible for project planning, and the Gyeongnam Tourism Association will handle operational support, thereby establishing a tripartite cooperation system.
Heo Jonggu, Deputy President of BNK Kyongnam Bank, said, "We are pleased that BNK Kyongnam Bank is able to participate in realizing new value for Gyeongnam tourism. We will continue to contribute to solving regional issues such as population decline and aging, to revitalizing the local economy, and to actively participating in creating social value."
