NH Investment & Securities Holds Pension Savings Account TDF Investment Event
NH Investment & Securities announced on March 19 that it will hold a pension savings account TDF (Target Date Fund) investment event for pension investment clients until July 31, 2026.
A TDF is a lifecycle asset allocation fund that automatically adjusts the proportion of assets such as stocks and bonds based on the investor's target retirement date. It is a representative pension investment vehicle used as a long-term investment product within pension savings accounts. Interest in TDFs has been growing recently, as changes in the retirement pension system and the need for long-term investment are increasingly emphasized. Notably, TDFs maintain a long-term investment strategy by automatically adjusting the proportion of risk and stable assets over time, even when it is difficult for investors to manage asset allocation themselves.
NH Investment & Securities’ 100-Year Life Research Institute also described the role of TDFs in pension investment in its recently published THE100 Report No. 118, titled "Retirement Asset Management Starting with TDF," analyzing TDFs as a long-term asset management tool that implements an asset allocation strategy tailored to one’s retirement date.
NH Investment & Securities is reflecting pension investment trends by running the "Pension Savings TDF Setup Event" until July 31, 2026, so that clients can experience long-term investment strategies using TDFs through their pension savings accounts.
This event targets clients who purchase TDF funds from NH-Amundi, Samsung Asset Management, and Hanwha Asset Management through their pension savings fund accounts. Depending on the net purchase amount of the eligible funds during the event period, clients will receive a 10,000 won Starbucks gift card for investments of 3 million won or more, 20,000 won for 5 million won or more, and 30,000 won for 10 million won or more. Performance can be combined by asset manager, and clients can participate multiple times. The rewards are scheduled to be provided in September 2026.

A representative from NH Investment & Securities stated, "When it comes to pension investment, a time-based asset allocation strategy is more important than short-term market trends. TDFs are pension investment products that allow investors to maintain a long-term investment structure without directly managing asset allocation." The representative added, "We plan to continuously expand related investment content and services so that our clients can manage their pension assets in a variety of ways."
