"My Safety Entrance Ceremony"... K2 Safety Launches Campaign to Support Onsite Workers
Industrial safety brand K2 Safety announced that it will launch the “My Safety Entrance Ceremony” campaign to support those taking their first steps as onsite workers.
The “My Safety Entrance Ceremony” is a participatory campaign designed to encourage “newcomer onsite workers”—those just beginning their professional careers or preparing for a second chapter of life in the field. The campaign goes beyond a simple event, aiming to listen to the stories of workers on site and celebrate their first steps together.
This campaign is open to everyone, regardless of age or gender, and operates by collecting personal stories from those about to start as onsite workers. Eligible participants include individuals about to undertake their first onsite assignment or those with less than one year of field experience. The focus is on delivering genuine encouragement and empathy to those just starting to adapt to the work environment.
Based on the submitted stories, K2 Safety will select winners and conduct a photo shoot set in actual workplaces. This initiative aims to document the dedication of onsite workers in their respective roles and share their stories with a wider audience.
In addition, selected participants will receive a safety kit and a bouquet, symbolizing support for their new beginnings. The safety kit is designed to help them practice basic safety rules at the worksite, with the expectation that it will promote practical safety awareness.
This campaign seeks to instill pride in onsite workers while helping to alleviate the stress and tension that can come with adapting to a new environment. In particular, it aims to naturally reinforce the value of “safety,” which is paramount in industrial settings, and to offer workers an opportunity to recognize the importance of safety themselves.
A K2 Safety representative stated, “This campaign was planned to support all onsite workers standing at a new starting line. We hope it will give those embarking on their journeys a sense of greater pride and a renewed awareness of the importance of safety.” The representative added, “We will continue to communicate with workers through a variety of field-oriented activities in the future.”
