Porsche Crashes Off Banpodaegyo Bridge... Hospital Director Booked Over Drug Source
The director of the hospital that was the source of the propofol used by the Porsche driver who crashed off Banpodaegyo Bridge has been booked by police.
On March 18, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that it recently booked the director of a plastic surgery clinic in Seocho-gu on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act and is currently investigating the case.
This clinic is where B, a woman in her 30s and a former nurse assistant who provided propofol to the Porsche driver A, had worked.
The police recently conducted a search and seizure at the hospital, securing records of prescriptions and pharmaceutical inventory and distribution.
All of the more than 100 drugs found in the accident vehicle are reported to have been diverted by B. It was confirmed that B committed the act by inflating the amount of drugs used at the hospital.
B is scheduled to be sent to the prosecution under detention on the 19th.
