View original imageThis project aims to support the economic independence and residential stability of homeless youth (ages 19 to 39) and newlywed couples (within seven years of marriage or planning to marry within three months) who are experiencing difficulties due to rising housing costs. The support will be provided in two forms—rental deposit assistance and monthly rent support—depending on the type of housing and the timing of move-in.
First, households scheduled to move into, or newly moving into after 2026, Pocheon Hericent and Songwoo Pineville—purchase-type public rental housing for youth, newlyweds, and families with newborns—will receive interest-free rental deposit assistance of up to 30 million won. The deposit support will be paid directly to Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH), and must be repaid upon move-out or when the support period ends.
In addition, for existing residents of Poaetteul and Songwoo Pineville (households that moved in prior to 2025), 50% of the monthly rent (up to 100,000 won) will be provided as support. The subsidy will be paid retroactively in the first and second halves of the year, deposited directly into the tenant’s account, thereby easing the burden of housing costs and contributing to asset formation.
