Lotte Mart Launches "Mega Tongkeun" 28th Anniversary Sale... Korean Beef and Chicken at Half Price

Largest-Ever Quantity of Products Secured for the Event
Lotte Mart announced on March 19 that it will launch a large-scale discount event called "Mega Tongkeun" from March 26 to April 8 to celebrate its 28th anniversary.
"Mega Tongkeun" combines Lotte Mart's signature keyword "Tongkeun" (meaning "big-hearted" or "generous") with "Mega," signifying its vast scale. This event is held only twice a year. For this round, Lotte Mart has secured the largest quantity of products in its history. Notably, about 2,500 heads of premium Korean beef sirloin will be available, up 20% from last year's anniversary event. Additionally, there will be approximately 300 tons each of imported pork belly and pork neck ("Kkeutdae" cuts), and "Bojogae" apples, as well as 30 tons of live snow crab.
During the event period, key items such as Korean beef, imported pork belly, chicken, and live snow crab will be sold at half price, while staple foods including apples, eggs, strawberries, milk, abalone, and pork will be offered at special prices. Furthermore, categories such as refrigerated and frozen foods, ramen, laundry detergent, shampoo and body wash, and underwear will feature buy-one-get-one-free discounts. There will also be limited-time discount promotions such as weekend and daily specials, and six exclusive "Gonggu Hot Deal" products from in-house brands—including milk, kimchi, and detergent—will be introduced as well.
In addition, a "Mega Stamp" customer participation event will be held. Customers who make purchases above a certain amount during the event period will receive stamps, and depending on the number of stamps collected, they can receive benefits such as L.POINT mileage and discount coupons, with a maximum value of up to 25,000 won. Details and participation information can be found through the "Lotte Mart GO" application (app), and the stamp benefits will also apply to Lotte Super and Lotte Mart MAXX.
