UHC Group to Officially Open 'UH Suite The Seolleung' Hotel in April
Global hotel brand management company UHC (CEO Park Sungjae) will officially open "UH Suite The Seolleung" in Gangnam, Seoul in April. This will be UHC's 25th hotel and the 12th location for its main brand, "UH Suite."
UH Suite The Seolleung is located just a one-minute walk from Seolleung Station, offering a prime location. Seven floors of a 15-story building will be operated as the hotel. Notably, the rooms are designed for medium to large groups, accommodating between six to eight guests, making them suitable for families and group travelers.
With the opening of this new branch, UH Suite will be operating hotels in three different buildings around Seolleung Station. The existing location, "UH Suite The COEX," recorded an occupancy rate close to full capacity last year, prompting the expansion of an annex building.
UHC is also rapidly expanding its footprint in other key areas of Seoul outside of Gangnam. "UH Continental Seoul" at Seoul Center Building in Jung-gu and "UH Series by Marriott" at the remodeled Pagoda Building in Jongno are both scheduled to open in the first half of this year. All new locations, including UH Suite The Seolleung, will be available immediately on the brand's dedicated app, "STATION by UHC," upon opening.
Park Sungjae, CEO of UHC, stated, "The expansion of our branches in Gangnam, Seoul will continue," adding, "The proportion of foreign guests has also been noticeably increasing not only at UH Suite but also at other brands such as UH Flat, which emphasizes practicality. We will take the lead in the growth of the K-tourism industry through abundant room supply and sophisticated service."
