View original imageThe "Singing Together Daehani Lived Again" challenge is an extension of the "Daehani Lived Again" campaign, which was carried out in commemoration of the March 1st Movement. In 2019, KB Financial Group launched the "Daehani Lived Again" campaign for the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Movement, and this year continued the expanded and successor project, the "Daehani Lived Again Rewritten" campaign.
Participants in the "Singing Together Daehani Lived Again" challenge will sing the song created through the Daehani Lived Again Rewritten campaign.
KB Financial Group has previously released the official audio and video of "Ordinary Days," which is the grand prize-winning lyrics written by lyricist Han Sung-il for the Daehani Lived Again Rewritten lyrics contest. The music was arranged by music director Jung Jaeil and sung by singer Lee Jeok.
The video, which KB Financial Group uploaded to YouTube on February 27, had recorded 4,860,935 views as of 10:50 a.m. on March 18. A donation campaign is also underway, in which KB Financial Group accumulates a donation of 2,026 won each time someone clicks "share" or "like" to support small business owners who are descendants of independence patriots.
Participants in the "Singing Together Daehani Lived Again" challenge must record a video of themselves singing to one of the guide tracks, either "Ordinary Days" or "Daehani Lived Again," and upload it to their personal social networking service (SNS) account with two required hashtags. Participants can choose either YouTube or Instagram as their SNS platform. The required hashtags are #함께부르는대한이살았다 and #KB금융챌린지.
The top three participants will receive a tablet PC, a Bluetooth speaker, and wireless headphones as prizes. In addition, 10 participants will be selected by drawing to receive a one-year music streaming subscription, and all participants will receive a coffee coupon.
Lyricist Han Sung-il participated in producing the challenge guide video, deeply conveying the meaning that our ordinary daily lives were the "ordinary days" dreamed of by independence activists over a hundred years ago. KB Financial Group plans to release the "Singing Together Daehani Lived Again" video, created with the voices of the people, on August 15, Liberation Day.
Lyricist Han Sung-il encouraged participation, saying, "We must remember that the ordinary days we live are not a given. I hope that through song, we can long remember our history and that its meaning will be passed down to the next generation even a hundred years from now."
