Lee Sangil, Mayor of Yongin Special City, announced on March 18 that he attended the inaugural ceremony of the Youth Entrepreneurs Council held at the Yongin Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 17th, where he congratulated the launch of the council and pledged to expand support for corporate growth and revitalization of the local economy.

View original imageThe Youth Entrepreneurs Council was established to promote exchange among local young entrepreneurs, strengthen their management capabilities, and contribute to the development of the regional economy.
The inaugural chairman of the council is Im Geunyoung, CEO of Samp Silver Dream Co., Ltd., and the secretary general is Song Kilyong, CEO of Gwangil Construction Environment Co., Ltd. A total of 22 companies are founding members.
In his congratulatory remarks, Mayor Lee stated, "I sincerely congratulate Chairman Lee Taeyeol of the Yongin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugural Chairman Im Geunyoung, Secretary General Song Kilyong, and all entrepreneurs who have worked hard for the establishment of the Youth Entrepreneurs Council. I hope the council will serve as a focal point representing the voices of young entrepreneurs in Yongin and look forward to your leadership in driving regional economic development."
He added, "I hope the young entrepreneurs of the Yongin Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue the path paved by their senior entrepreneurs through challenge, innovation, and networking among companies. Yongin City will continue to provide unwavering support and encouragement for the development of local businesses."

The council plans to hold a regular monthly meeting and roundtable discussion once a month to listen to the difficulties of young entrepreneurs and convey the voices from the field.
