Yeongcheon City Holds 2026 First Regional Care Meeting
Laying the Foundation for Community-Based Integrated Care
Through the Connection of Medical, Nursing, and Daily Life Support Services
On March 16, Yeongcheon City held the '2026 First Regional Care Meeting' in the small conference room at City Hall to officially launch the integrated medical and nursing care project.
The meeting was attended by 10 participants, including officials from relevant Yeongcheon City departments and representatives from the Yeongcheon branch of the National Health Insurance Service. They exchanged a variety of opinions on how to organically connect local resources for medical care, nursing, and daily care, and how to establish a customized, person-centered integrated support system.
In addition, for nine individuals identified by townships and the National Health Insurance Service, preliminary surveys and in-depth initial consultations were conducted simultaneously to thoroughly analyze the living conditions and individual needs of each recipient.
Based on these findings, 23 individual integrated support plans were finalized, linking health care, daily life care, specialized care, and housing support services. The city also decided to further strengthen inter-agency cooperation to address welfare blind spots.
A city official stated, "For residents facing complex challenges, an integrated support approach is far more important than relying on individual projects. We will continue to expand integrated care services with a strong sense of collaboration between the public and private sectors, so that residents can truly feel the benefits."
