Haman County Designates Youth Startups Dam-an and Alize as "2026 Village Enterprises"
Building the Foundation with the "2022 Haman Youth Startup Support Project for Creating Tomorrow"
Haman County, South Gyeongsang Province, announced on the 13th that two youth startup companies, Dam-an Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sungjeong) and Alize Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeon Kyungok), have been newly designated (first-time selection) as "2026 Village Enterprises" supported by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Village enterprises are community-based companies where local residents create jobs and help solve local issues by utilizing regional resources for profit-generating businesses. The two companies designated this time have participated in Haman County's "2022 Haman Youth Startup Support Project for Creating Tomorrow," where they established their business foundations, developed their business models in detail, and achieved growth.
Dam-an Co., Ltd., located in Sanin-myeon, operates Korean traditional confectionery sales and hands-on programs by combining local agricultural specialties and storytelling. Alize Co., Ltd., based in Gaya-eup, operates design and digital education programs founded on information technology (IT).
Both companies received high marks for their business models utilizing local resources and their community-based operational structures, leading to their designation as village enterprises. Each company will receive KRW 50 million in support funds.
Since 2022, the county has been promoting youth startup support projects in collaboration with Social Cooperative SEED (Chairman Son Youngjun) to establish a sustainable youth entrepreneurship ecosystem. Beginning in 2023, the county has also been dedicated to cultivating youth entrepreneurs who consider and address local issues through the "Haman Youth Startup Sustainable Growth Support Project."

This designation as village enterprises is seen as a case that demonstrates how such systematic support serves as a foundation for youth startups to grow into sustainable, regionally rooted businesses, rather than ending with initial startup assistance.
