This year’s festival will be themed under the core slogan "Jeongeup and Spring," and will feature a variety of content centered on three messages: "See the Cherry Blossoms, Experience the Culture, Imagine Tomorrow."
In particular, this year’s most notable feature is the rich lineup of stage performances that will continue throughout the festival period. On the opening day, April 3, the festivities will kick off with pre-ceremony performances by local artists and youth dance clubs, followed by popular singers such as Jung Seunghwan, Kim Yongim, Lightsum, and Cardio, who will take the stage and brighten the spring night with vibrant melodies.
On the second and third days, performances by local artists will continue alongside a dazzling lineup that spans generations, including Min Kyunghoon, Jeong Seul, Arian, Yerin, Kang Hyeyeon, and Hangang, further elevating the festive spirit for all visitors.
Within the festival grounds, more than 40 diverse booths will operate to satisfy visitors’ five senses. In addition to existing snack and dessert stands and food trucks, there will be a special bakery booth featuring local bakeries, sure to delight tourists’ palates. Safety awareness booths, pet campaign booths, and children’s amusement rides will also be appropriately arranged to create a pleasant festival environment where the entire family—from children to parents—can enjoy together.
Furthermore, a cherry blossom photo zone and eco-friendly experience programs will be available throughout the event, while concentrated nightscape lighting will be installed along the Jeongeupcheon cherry blossom path so that visitors can enjoy a romantic walk illuminated among the blossoms even at night.
