KB Kookmin Bank Expands "KB Small Business Mentoring School On the Move" to 100 Companies

On March 11, KB Kookmin Bank announced that it will expand the number of companies supported by the "KB Small Business Mentoring School On the Move," which provides customized consulting to small business owners, and will operate the program on an annual basis.
The "KB Small Business Mentoring School On the Move," launched in 2019, offers on-site, field-oriented solutions to small business owners experiencing management difficulties. Experts in areas such as management and finance, marketing, taxation, and social networking service (SNS) operations visit businesses directly to provide their guidance. To date, the program has supported a total of 343 companies, helping to strengthen the competitiveness of small business owners.
The 9th round of the program will expand the number of supported companies from 50 to 100, and will shift its format from being operated only in the second half of the year to an ongoing, year-round program.
Notably, for this 9th round, in addition to renowned chefs and baristas, a successful entrepreneur from the bakery sector—who achieved business success through this mentoring program—will also join as a mentor to share their management know-how. Even after the mentoring is completed, continuous follow-up management will be provided in connection with "KB Small Business Consulting Centers" located nationwide.

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank provides free consulting at KB Small Business Consulting Centers, supporting all aspects of small business management, including start-up counseling, commercial district analysis, and financial consulting. The 16 centers nationwide have conducted approximately 65,000 consulting sessions to date, and financial support such as preferential interest rates is also being provided to consulting clients.
