With the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and the continuation of rigorous law enforcement, companies are now required to prove their efforts to prevent industrial accidents, such as establishing safety management systems. As a result, SuperSafe is being evaluated as a helpful tool for improving workplace safety management for businesses.
SuperSafe was developed to maximize the efficiency of safety management in a rapidly changing industrial environment. It is designed not only for basic management and supervision, but also to comprehensively address real on-site factors within companies.
The Hyundai Economic Research Institute collaborated with Hyundai Movex, its logistics automation affiliate, to introduce SuperSafe at automated facility installation sites where heavy material handling and complex tasks are frequent, thereby demonstrating its effectiveness.
SuperSafe's key strength is its ability to manage all records of safety activities, risk communication, and on-site access approvals via both web and mobile platforms.
By fully digitizing extensive paperwork such as risk assessments and daily safety training (Tool Box Meetings, TBM) that were previously completed manually, it enables the realization of a completely paperless worksite.
In particular, the digital features for visitor access approval, subcontractor and worker registration, mandatory training implementation, and conversion of history information data help companies move beyond formal paperwork. This allows them to focus on substantive safety activities while also securing necessary supporting documentation.
In practice, Hyundai Movex has integrated the management of over 40 worksites and more than 100 partner companies through the adoption of SuperSafe, significantly increasing management efficiency and work productivity.
The Hyundai Economic Research Institute plans to expand its client base to domestic construction and manufacturing companies by leveraging the successful adoption case of Hyundai Movex. Subsequently, it aims to establish a one-stop safety management ecosystem that connects training, management, and evidence collection, taking the lead in fostering a culture of safety in industrial workplaces.
The Hyundai Economic Research Institute stated, "Since the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, the responsibility and burden of proof for corporate safety management have become more significant. SuperSafe is an integrated safety solution that can be immediately implemented on industrial sites, and we expect it will greatly assist companies in fulfilling their legal obligations and strengthening accident prevention systems."
