[Today’s New Release] JTI Korea Launches “EVO,” Heated Tobacco Stick Brand Exclusively for Ploom
Brand Changed from "MEVIUS for Ploom" to "EVO"
Featuring "Clean Seal" and "ActivBlend" Technologies
The dedicated stick brand for JTI Korea’s heated tobacco device “Ploom” will be rebranded from “MEVIUS for Ploom” to “EVO” starting March 10, 2026.
JTI Korea explained that, as a premium stick brand optimized for the “Ploom” heated tobacco device, the new product line focuses on enhancing overall quality, flavor, and user experience while retaining the authentic tobacco taste that characterized the previous stick brand.
The name “EVO” derives from “Evolution,” reflecting Ploom’s brand vision of modernity and continuous innovation.
EVO features “Clean Seal” technology, which uses a special manufacturing process to seal the bottom of each stick. This prevents tobacco leaf remnants from falling into the device, providing a cleaner heated tobacco experience. In addition, JTI’s proprietary “ActivBlend” blending technology is applied. When combined with Ploom’s “Heatflow” technology, it delivers the deep and rich flavor unique to tobacco.
The newly launched EVO lineup consists of a total of eight varieties, each reflecting the taste characteristics of the corresponding products from the previous “MEVIUS for Ploom” range.
“EVO Amber,” with its robust yet smooth flavor, preserves the taste of “MEVIUS Deep Regular.” The cool-flavored “EVO Arctic,” “EVO Green Option,” and “EVO Jade” each inherit the characteristics of “MEVIUS Ice Cold,” “MEVIUS Cold Option,” and “MEVIUS Ice Leaf,” respectively. Additionally, “EVO Magenta,” “EVO Purple Option,” “EVO Pink Option,” and “EVO Baize Option” are based on the flavors of “MEVIUS Shine Fresh,” “MEVIUS Purple Option,” “MEVIUS Pink Option,” and “MEVIUS Baize Option,” respectively.
A JTI Korea spokesperson stated, “EVO, the newly designed premium stick brand exclusively for Ploom, is a product that elevates both quality and user experience, building on JTI’s long history and heritage,” and added, “Going forward, we will continue to provide consumers with ever-evolving experiences driven by our unique technology.”

The retail price for EVO remains unchanged at 4,500 won, and it will be available at convenience stores in select areas of Seoul and Gyeonggi Province.
