Korea Exchange System Glitch Causes Some Orders to Be Rejected or Delayed
As the domestic stock market plummeted, the Korea Exchange experienced delays and rejections in stock order processing.
According to the financial investment industry, between 12:30 and 12:33 p.m. and again from 1:39 to 1:41 p.m. on March 9, some orders were either rejected or processing was delayed due to a system issue at the Korea Exchange. It has been confirmed that normalization measures have now been completed.
Mirae Asset Securities issued an announcement on the same day, stating, "Due to instability in the exchange's system, order delays may occur, so please make sure to check your order results."
