The recruitment process will proceed in the following order: job suitability assessment in March, Samsung Job Aptitude Test (GSAT) in April, interviews in May, and a health examination.
Applicants for software positions will take a practical software skills test instead of the GSAT, while applicants for design positions will be selected through a design portfolio review rather than the GSAT.
In addition to large-scale open recruitment, Samsung operates the "Samsung Software·AI Academy for Youth (SSAFY)" across five campuses nationwide—in Seoul, Daejeon, Gwangju, Gumi, and Busan—offering high-quality education free of charge to help young people strengthen their software competitiveness. Since its launch in 2019, more than 8,500 SSAFY graduates have found employment at over 2,300 companies both in Korea and abroad.
Recently, Samsung expanded the eligibility for SSAFY from university graduates to include Meister high school graduates, and has fully revamped the SSAFY curriculum to focus on AI education as part of its contribution to nurturing AI talent at the national level. Samsung also runs a "recruitment-linked internship program," selecting Meister high school scholarship students to participate in internships during vacation periods, after which they may join Samsung as full-time employees upon graduation.
Samsung also recruits skilled technicians who have performed well in the National Skills Competition. From 2007 to 2025, Samsung Electronics, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung Display,
and other affiliates have specially recruited a total of approximately 1,600 awardees from the National Skills Competition.
