Krafton Obtains Two International Information Security Standard Certifications
Certification Covers Both Korea Headquarters and Overseas Offices
Krafton announced on March 6 that it has obtained the international certifications ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO/IEC 27701 (Personal Information Management System) from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

It applies not only to the company's headquarters in Korea but also to major overseas offices in the United States, Europe, India, and Japan.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard that evaluates the establishment and operation of management systems to protect information assets. ISO/IEC 27701 is a global standard that verifies protection systems for every stage of personal information processing. Both certifications serve as core criteria for responding to global regulations, including the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Seokbeom Hong, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Krafton, stated, "This is an objective validation that Krafton systematically manages information security and personal information protection as a global service company.
