That morning, at the café on the 8th floor of SK Biopharm's headquarters, all employees arriving for work were given a set of bread and coffee along with a rose. This event was designed to embody the symbols of International Women's Day—'bread' representing the right to survival and 'rose' symbolizing suffrage. In one area of the café, placards and a photo booth themed around 'diversity and inclusion' were set up, allowing employees to take commemorative photos and actively participate in the event.
In the afternoon, a special lecture titled 'The Power of Diversity in Organizations and Women's Leadership' will be delivered by Outside Director and Chair of the Board Jihee Seo, targeting approximately 30 senior-level female employees.
SK Biopharm operates a range of internal programs, including the International Women's Day event, to put into practice 'diversity and inclusion,' one of the core values of sustainable management (ESG). The company has received the highest rating of 'AAA' for two consecutive years from MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International), a global ESG rating agency.
