The event was attended by Lee Chungwan, President of the Korea Merchant Association, 17 branch presidents, and approximately 20 other participants.
During the meeting, attendees provided information on the agency's major support programs for traditional markets and shopping districts, shared current issues, and discussed measures for revitalizing traditional markets and commercial areas. Participants exchanged a wide range of opinions on topics such as declining foot traffic, shifting consumer trends, and digital transformation, and discussed potential cooperation between the association and the agency to invigorate traditional markets.
