ActionPower Secures 6 Billion Won Series B Investment, Total Funding Surpasses 20 Billion Won
Business Growth Driven by Hana Ventures’ Lead Investment
Accelerating Simultaneous Expansion in B2B and B2C Markets
ActionPower, the operator of the AI voice transcription and summarization service "Daglo," announced on March 5 that it has secured a Series B investment of 6 billion won. This investment round was led by Hana Ventures, with new investors including Korea Development Bank joining existing backers such as WeVentures and Tony Investment. With this round, ActionPower’s total accumulated investment now exceeds 20 billion won.
ActionPower has enhanced work productivity through its multimodal AI technology, which integrates and processes diverse data such as voice, text, and images. Based on a decade of experience developing high-performance and lightweight multimodal AI models, the company supports both consumer-oriented B2C (business-to-consumer) services and enterprise B2B (business-to-business) solutions for on-premises and cloud environments. To date, ActionPower has secured more than 70 patents domestically and internationally, and has published papers in global academic journals, demonstrating its technological capabilities.
During this investment process, ActionPower was highly rated for both its technological prowess and its rapid business growth. Its flagship B2C service "Daglo" saw sales nearly quadruple year-on-year, and as of last year, the accumulated voice processing volume surpassed 13 million hours, showcasing its large-scale operational capabilities. The B2B segment also grew by approximately 40% compared to the previous year. Currently, ActionPower counts companies and partners from various industries, including DB Life Insurance, Hancom, Daegu Metropolitan City Hall, Seoul National University Hospital, and KT Skylife.
ActionPower plans to use the newly secured funds to further enhance its service features and accelerate its global expansion and B2B business growth. In particular, the company’s strategy is to broaden its offerings to include industry-specific AI agent solutions that support both work automation and decision-making for enterprises. Under the vision of "Actionable AI," ActionPower aims to progressively expand the scope of AI-based automation by leveraging customer-tailored services and lightweight technologies.
Kanghoon Lee, Principal at Hana Ventures, stated, "ActionPower possesses top-tier technological capabilities in the field of multimodality, which is central to AI agents. As its proprietary model-based B2B and B2C businesses have gained traction, we believe the company has significant growth potential going forward."
