Inspire Resort Interior Design Receives High Praise
Hyundai Livart is accelerating its total interior solution business for premium commercial spaces such as hotels and residences. Leveraging its expertise and experience in space consulting, the company has set a goal to double its revenue from this business within three years.
On March 5, Hyundai Livart announced that it has signed a total interior solution supply contract with Blue Cove Asset Management, the developer of the "Travelodge Yeoksam" hotel, which is scheduled to open in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Hyundai Livart will provide total interior solutions for all spaces within the hotel, including 183 guest rooms, conference facilities, and a premium lounge exclusively for guests.
The total interior solution service goes beyond manufacturing and supplying furniture or artworks; it encompasses space planning, design, production, construction, and after-sales management.
Hyundai Livart is expanding its B2B business from primarily supplying and installing built-in furniture in new apartments to offering total interior solutions for hotels, resorts, and high-end residences.
In September last year, Hyundai Livart signed a contract to supply total interior solutions for the rooftop area and sky lounge of "The Gallery 832," a high-end residence scheduled to open in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and is currently carrying out the construction.
Hyundai Livart explained, "To operate the total interior solution business, not only the ability to manufacture and supply furniture is required, but also expertise in space planning and design, art consulting for hospitality spaces, procurement of premium building materials and consumables, and integrated construction management. Professional teams specializing in these fields are essential."
Hyundai Livart is the only company in the industry equipped with specialized teams and competitive capabilities to expand its total interior solution business. Its core teams are the "Design Lab" and "Art Lab." The Design Lab is a specialized research organization that brings together more than 70 designers without distinguishing between home furniture, home interiors, or office furniture. By incorporating home furniture materials such as leather and solid wood into modular office furniture, the organization breaks stereotypes to create differentiated space designs.
The Art Lab is a professional team responsible for supplying artworks and sculptures to commercial and residential spaces, planning and producing pieces that elevate the quality of each space. In 2022, the company successfully completed the interior design of the "Inspire Entertainment Resort" in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, which became a catalyst for expanding its business.

A Hyundai Livart representative stated, "Word of mouth about Inspire’s interiors is spreading in the hotel industry, and there has been a surge in requests for total interior solutions from hotels both in Korea and overseas. Even prior to this contract, we have completed interior projects for numerous 3- to 5-star hotels domestically and internationally."
Hyundai Livart aims to increase its total interior solution business revenue from the current level of 100 billion won to 200 billion won within three years.

The Hyundai Livart representative added, "Going forward, we plan to expand our portfolio of total interior solution contracts for premium commercial spaces both in Korea and abroad by offering 'Value Add' consulting that enhances the artistry and value of spaces. As one way to overcome the ongoing downturn in the construction market, we will nurture the total interior solution business as a new growth engine for our B2B operations."
