Geumsan County to Hire Record 100 New Public Officials This Year
Comprehensively Reflecting New Administrative Demands such as Integrated Care Services and Public Architecture
Geumsan County will hire a record-high 100 new local public officials this year.
The main job categories for this new recruitment are 30 in general administration, 18 in social welfare, 11 in facilities, and 11 in nursing. By hiring a total of 70 people in these four categories alone, the county will place greater focus on areas closely related to residents' daily lives.
In addition, 30 people will be hired in other categories such as taxation, information technology, public health, environment, agriculture, green space, engineering, and disaster safety.
To expand opportunities for socially disadvantaged groups to enter public service, some categories will have separate recruitment tracks for persons with disabilities and low-income applicants.
The examination will be held three times over the course of the year according to the annual plan. Application periods are as follows: for the first round, from February 23 to 26, 2026; for the second round, from March 23 to 27, 2026; and for the third round, from July 20 to 24, 2026. The written tests will take place on March 14, 2026 for the first round, June 20, 2026 for the second round, and October 31, 2026 for the third round.
Applications must be submitted through the Local Government Internet Application Center, and details such as test subjects by job category and eligibility requirements can be found in the official recruitment announcement.
