On February 11, BNK Kyongnam Bank held the "2026 BNK Lunar New Year Home Run Day" event to put productive and inclusive finance into practice.

View original imageThis event was organized as part of promoting BNK Kyongnam Bank's 2026 management slogan "Home Run," a combination of "Home," which stands for region, customers, and core foundation, and "Run," which signifies dynamic execution and persistent challenge. It was prepared to express gratitude to local senior citizens and customers.
Together with the signing of a companion agreement led by the head office, each branch carried out activities visiting welfare facilities such as senior centers and senior citizens' associations.
BNK Kyongnam Bank Executive Director Kim Kibum visited the Gyeongnam Federation of the Korean Senior Citizens Association and signed a "Memorandum of Understanding on Implementing Inclusive Finance and Promoting the Rights and Interests of Local Senior Citizens" with Chairman Shin Heebeom, agreeing to cooperate with each other to improve the quality of life of local senior citizens.
Under the memorandum of understanding, the two parties agreed to jointly plan, develop, and operate financial and economic programs for the local elderly population.
They also agreed to provide financial services to financially marginalized areas such as towns, townships, and neighborhoods at or below the county level by offering visiting financial education and utilizing the mobile banking service.
On the same day, employees of BNK Kyongnam Bank branches in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan regions visited 101 local senior centers recommended by the Gyeongnam and Ulsan Federations of the Korean Senior Citizens Association.
The employees delivered gift bundles and souvenirs containing 18 types of food items, including instant rice, instant noodles, and beef bone soup, to the senior centers.
They also shared rice cakes, beverages, and other refreshments they had prepared with the senior citizens, exchanging New Year's greetings and well-wishes ahead of the Lunar New Year.
