Hanil Cement demonstrated its technological capabilities last year by launching ultra-retentive concrete and cold-resistant concrete to solve challenges at construction sites caused by climate change, such as extreme heat and severe cold. The company also led trends in the construction materials market by successively introducing mortar products such as "High-Density Floor Remital FS600HD," which helps reduce inter-floor noise, and "One Time," which hardens quickly even when poured in thick layers, earning high marks.
The company’s achievements in environmental management also contributed positively. Hanil Cement received Excellent Company certification for the second consecutive year under the Energy Efficiency Target Scheme (KEEP 30), organized by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and the Korea Energy Agency. Internally, following its Danyang plant in 2024, the company expanded the "every-other-week four-day workweek" system to its Yeongwol plant last year. After the system was introduced, 88% of executives and employees gave positive feedback, citing improvements in work-life balance and better work focus.
