Goseong-gun Launches Handmade Chocolate Hometown Love Donation Event for Valentine’s Day and White Day
Goseong-gun in Gangwon Province is holding a sweet handmade chocolate Hometown Love Donation Program event to mark the Valentine’s Day & White Day season, which are symbolic anniversaries for expressing love.
This event has been prepared to encourage participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and White Day, and to increase awareness and preference for the return gifts of Bonaterra, a premium handmade dessert company in Goseong-gun, and the cafe Bada Garden, thereby enhancing donor satisfaction and leading to repeat donations. The event period runs from February 6 to March 14.
During the event period, if donors choose handmade chocolate as their return gift after making a Hometown Love donation, they will receive additional items or be provided the products at a discounted price compared to the existing one. In addition, a message card to convey one’s feelings and a gift bag will be enclosed when the return gifts are shipped.
This event is being promoted through cooperation between local businesses and Goseong-gun.
First, Bonaterra will offer each of the following for 30,000 points: a Dark Chocolate Yanggaeng Set (8 pieces) + Cacao Tea (10 bags) gift set, a Dark Chocolate Brownie (5 pieces) gift set, and an Authentic Dark Chocolate One Tree One Bar (1 set). Donors who select Bonaterra products will receive an additional two single Dark Chocolate Yanggaeng pieces.
Bada Garden will offer its Handmade Caramel (10 pieces) + Cookies (12 pieces) gift set, originally priced at 38,000 won, at a 20% discounted price of 30,000 points.
On top of this, a message card to convey one’s feelings will be provided.
In particular, the handmade chocolate featured in this event is a premium product produced by local businesses, and it has been receiving high satisfaction in terms of quality and taste, so it is expected to attract strong interest from donors. Donors can feel the reward of contributing to revitalizing the local economy while enjoying a sweet gift.
An official from the county said, “We hope this will serve as an opportunity to spread the atmosphere of participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and to widely promote the excellence of local return gifts,” adding, “We will continue to activate donation participation through various events tailored to the seasons and trends.”
