Busan Korean Veterans Association Holds Meeting with District and Women’s Association Chairpersons
Sharing Organization Management Based on Laws and Regulations... Presenting Key Project Directions for This Year
The Busan Korean Veterans Association announced that at 3:00 p.m. on the 3rd, it held a meeting in the city association conference room with district association chairpersons and women’s association chairpersons in attendance, where they shared the direction for organization management based on laws and regulations, as well as the major project plans for 2026.
This meeting was organized so that the newly appointed district association chairpersons and women’s association chairpersons and the existing leadership could share standards and a vision for running the organization, and discuss the future direction for the Veterans Association’s advancement.
The event began with watching an introduction video about the city association, followed by an explanation of the principle of political neutrality under the association’s bylaws, membership qualifications, and the role of the women’s association, and proceeded as a training session that emphasized the importance of responsible leadership. In particular, it highlighted the need for regulation-centered rather than convention-centered operations through real-life examples, reaffirming the importance of securing organizational trust.
The Busan Korean Veterans Association presented as its major projects for 2026 the expansion of citizen-participatory security activities, the strengthening of volunteer work, the enhancement of organizational capabilities, and the establishment of a foundation for financial stability. Along with these, it also introduced flagship projects such as operating a women’s association volunteer group and launching a veterans’ choir.
During the free discussion session, participants shared opinions on difficulties experienced in the field and possible improvements, and continued discussions to devise practical cooperation measures.
The newly appointed chairpersons who attended that day said, “The standards for the overall association affairs have become clear through laws and regulations,” and “It was practical training that can be applied directly in the field,” expressing their gratitude for the city association’s systematic support and guidance.
