LG Electronics will introduce a new micro LED signage product, 'LG Magnit,' in Europe.

Starting from February 3 (local time), LG Electronics will unveil its new 'LG Magnit' product at ISE 2026, the largest commercial display exhibition in Europe, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, for four days.

'LG Magnit' is a compound word combining 'magnificent' and the unit of luminance 'nit,' signifying its ability to deliver astonishing picture quality with outstanding brightness. With ultra-high definition, scalable screens, and ease of installation, it is suitable for a variety of commercial spaces such as exhibition halls, large auditoriums and conference rooms, premium stores, broadcasting stations, and control rooms.

LG Electronics will unveil a new product of its ultra-high-definition signage, 'LG Magnite,' at 'ISE 2026,' which opens on the 3rd (local time) in Barcelona, Spain. LG Electronics.

LG Electronics developed the new product with the goal of providing practical convenience in installation, operation, and maintenance to its business-to-business (B2B) customers who choose LG Magnit. The newly applied 'LTD (Line to Dot)' feature is a prime example.

Due to the nature of installation environments, commercial LED displays may occasionally have individual light sources that fail to function due to external factors. In such cases, the driver IC typically controls the light sources by row, making an entire line appear to be non-functional. However, the new LTD feature in LG Magnit proactively addresses this by controlling the screen at the dot level rather than by row, minimizing the impact to just a single tiny light source. This significantly reduces visual discomfort for viewers watching the signage from a distance, ensuring a more pleasant viewing experience.

The product also enhances installation convenience by allowing the cabinets (the basic unit of LED signage) to be easily connected like blocks for virtually unlimited expansion. The thickness of the product has been reduced compared to previous models, and a technology has been applied to easily adjust any height differences. For large-scale signage, multiple LED cabinets are connected to form a single screen, making it crucial to eliminate any gaps between cabinets for a smooth, unified display. Previously, adjusting these gaps required working from the back and then checking from the front, but LG Magnit’s patented technology allows for precise front-side adjustments, significantly reducing installation time for large screens.

Another advantage of LG Magnit is that the distance between the cabinet and the controller can be extended up to 10 kilometers. By using optical cables instead of short Ethernet cables, long-distance installation between the cabinet and controller is possible, allowing the controller to be operated from a separate location such as a control center, rather than being placed near the cabinet.

LG Magnit features LG’s proprietary 'front black coating' technology. This technology enables deep black expression, maximizing contrast ratio and improving the color accuracy of the LED elements, resulting in overwhelming picture quality. Additionally, it enhances durability by reducing the direct impact of moisture, dust, and external shocks on the LED elements.
