The '733', which won the CES 2025 Innovation Award, is a wearable AI healthcare robot that represents Bodyfriend's proprietary robotics technology. Its key features include the ability to stand up and sit down autonomously, assist users in sitting and standing, and actively extend the movement of human limbs based on an understanding of the musculoskeletal structure.
At CES 2026, Bodyfriend will unveil for the first time worldwide an upgraded model featuring 'ankle rotation' technology, and will present a group choreography performance to demonstrate the robot's movements.
AI features developed using the company's proprietary big data-based algorithms are also expected to attract attention. A representative example is the 'Da Vinci AI' healthcare robot, which measures stress levels using a PPG sensor (photoplethysmography sensor) and recommends suitable massages. For the first time, Bodyfriend will also introduce a function that combines user physical data-such as age, gender, height, and weight-with personality information from both Eastern and Western traditions, including Saju, zodiac signs, and MBTI, to provide the optimal massage recommendation.
A Bodyfriend representative stated, "Healthcare robots have already captured about 50% of the domestic massage chair market, and overseas sales have surged more than twofold compared to the previous year, transforming the market landscape. With the AI healthcare robots showcased at this CES, we aim to usher in an era where anyone can experience deep massages at home and receive optimal solutions by having their biometric signals analyzed by AI."
