Prosecutors Indict WINNER's Song Minho Without Detention Over 'Negligent Service' Allegations
Song Minho, a member of the group WINNER, has been indicted on suspicion of neglecting his duties while serving as a social service agent.
On December 31, the Criminal Division 1 of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Won Sinhye) announced that Song had been indicted without detention on charges of violating the Military Service Act. Prosecutors also indicted his service supervisor, identified as Mr. A, for allegedly aiding and abetting Song's neglect of duty despite being aware of it.
Song is accused of failing to faithfully carry out his work as a social service agent in Mapo-gu, Seoul, from March 2023 to December of last year, including not reporting to work without valid reasons and leaving his post without authorization.
