Professor Lee Yeonho of Yonsei University Appointed as 5th President of the Korean Association for Public Diplomacy
Professor Lee Yeonho of the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Yonsei University will take office as the 5th President of the Korean Association for Public Diplomacy on January 1, 2026. His term will last for one year.
Founded in 2020 following the enactment of the Public Diplomacy Act in 2016, this association is a multidisciplinary academic society that studies and supports diplomatic activities not only at the government level but also across civil society, non-governmental organizations, local governments, corporations, and the fields of culture and arts, as these activities have become increasingly active between nations.

Professor Lee is a scholar who researches and teaches in the fields of political and economic development theory, international development cooperation, and European Union (EU) integration theory. At Yonsei University, he has served as Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Director of the Office of International Affairs, and Director of the Institute for East and West Studies. He is currently the Director of the Yonsei-Jean Monnet EU Centre.
