The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will hold the 'Artist-Jury Conversation' for the final selection of the 'Artist of the Year Award 2025' winner on January 13 next year, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the MMCA Multi-purpose Space in Seoul.

View original imageThis event is a discussion program featuring the four sponsored artists and a panel of domestic and international jurors. The artists will introduce their artistic worlds in person and engage in a Q&A session with both the jury and the audience.
The final winner of the 'Artist of the Year Award 2025' will be announced on January 15 next year, following a second, closed-door round of judging after this event. General visitors can register in advance through the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art's website starting January 5 next year, and participation is free of charge.

Kim Sunghee, Director of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, stated, "I hope the 'Artist-Jury Conversation' will serve as an opportunity to gain a more multidimensional understanding of the landscape of contemporary Korean art as presented by the 'Artist of the Year Award,' as well as a platform for communication."
