View original imageJindo County in South Jeolla Province has once again demonstrated the achievements of its integrity-driven administration by attaining a "Grade 2 in Integrity" for the third consecutive year since 2023 in the "2025 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment of Public Institutions" conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
The Comprehensive Integrity Assessment is an annual system designed to promote anti-corruption efforts and spread awareness and culture of integrity within public institutions. This year, the evaluation was conducted for 709 public institutions nationwide.
The county has continuously implemented a variety of integrity initiatives aimed at fostering a transparent and honest public service culture and restoring public trust. These initiatives include: anti-corruption and integrity improvement briefings, integrity action pledge ceremonies, integrity education for public officials, sending letters on integrity, "One Department, One Integrity" practice activities, campaigns to spread anti-corruption and integrity culture, and the implementation of anti-corruption system improvements.
As a result of these efforts, Jindo County received balanced evaluations in both the perceived integrity and integrity effort categories, maintaining the stable achievement of "Grade 2 for three consecutive years."
