French Actress Brigitte Bardot Dies at 91
Brigitte Bardot, the renowned French actress and animal rights activist, passed away on the 28th (local time). She was 91 years old.
The Brigitte Bardot Foundation issued a statement on the same day, saying, "It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Brigitte Bardot, the world-famous actress, founder, and president of our foundation," and added, "She chose to give up her glamorous career and dedicate her life and energy to animal welfare and the foundation."
