Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province - Gonjiam Resort announced on December 24 that it will offer a variety of events to celebrate the year-end and New Year amid snowy landscapes adorned with snowflakes.
From the previous day until December 25, Gonjiam Resort is hosting events across the resort, including performances with Santa and violin concerts, allowing guests of all ages to enjoy the excitement and joy of Christmas. In the main lobby, EW Village Lobby, a photo session with Santa will be held for 30 minutes from 2:00 p.m., where guests can meet Santa and take pictures together. Additionally, dance performances with Santa will take place twice, at 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., each lasting 15 minutes. After the performances, Santa will visit the resort's food and beverage outlets to meet guests, providing another opportunity for photo sessions and creating memorable Christmas experiences.
At 'La Grotta,' the cave-style Italian restaurant renowned for its awards in wine and gourmet cuisine, live violin performances will be held twice, at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., each lasting 30 minutes, adding a romantic touch to Christmas. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day during dinner time, a Christmas special dinner course will be offered, allowing guests to enjoy an even more special Christmas with loved ones.
On December 31, a countdown event will be held at the Gonjiam Resort ski slopes to mark the end of 2025 in a special way and welcome the New Year of 2026 in grand style. Beginning at 11:30 p.m., the year-end countdown festival will kick off with a DJ show by the famous DJ Grace, and comedian Kim Jaewook will serve as MC, hosting the year-end and New Year’s events in a festive atmosphere.
