Consumption Coupons and Hamyang Love Gift Certificates Circulate Over 27.5 Billion Won in the Second Half
Significantly Contributing to the Revitalization of the Local Economy
Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 18th that it had secured a special grant of 100 million won after achieving outstanding results in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's evaluation of the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon Distribution' program.
This evaluation comprehensively assessed the performance of consumption coupon distribution, the expansion of usage and participating merchants, improvements in application and distribution convenience, and promotional achievements, with additional points awarded for exemplary cases.
Hamyang County ranked among the top 180 basic local governments in this evaluation, thereby securing a special grant of 100 million won.
The total amount of consumption coupons distributed in the first and second rounds from July 21 to the end of October was 11.131 billion won. Combined with the special discount sales of the Hamyang Love Gift Certificate, more than 27.5 billion won circulated within the region in a short period during the second half of the year, which was evaluated as having made a significant contribution to the management stability of small business owners and the revitalization of the local economy.
Hamyang County plans to use the newly secured special grant of 100 million won as a general financial resource.
