Naver is introducing a platform that automatically creates digital out-of-home advertisements tailored to business owners' characteristics using artificial intelligence (AI).
According to the IT industry on December 17, Naver announced through a notice on the Advertiser Center on December 15 that it will launch 'ADVoost Screen,' a customized digital out-of-home advertising (DOOH) solution designed for Smart Place business owners.

DOOH refers to digital out-of-home advertising methods in offline spaces, such as digital advertising panels on apartment and commercial building elevator display screens or tablet-type self-ordering devices inside restaurants. The need to contact each media operator individually and the high cost of running advertisements have been considered significant barriers to entry for small and medium-sized business owners.
Through this platform, which is specialized for small business owners, Naver has automated the main processes from advertisement creation to execution. Naver's AI platform, HyperCLOVA, analyzes each business's characteristics to generate optimized advertising copy, while the video AI technology, AutoClip AI, extracts videos that meet the required specifications.
In addition, the platform includes a feature that automatically optimizes the geographical range for ad exposure based on the advertiser's business location. Naver expects that applying this feature will clarify the target audience for advertisements, thereby improving advertising efficiency.
Naver will first deliver advertisements in conjunction with 'Table Order,' a tablet-type self-ordering device for restaurants, and plans to gradually expand advertising to various digital out-of-home media, such as elevator display screens.

The DOOH solution for Smart Place business owners will begin accepting registration applications from advertisers starting December 22.
