Yeongju City was named an excellent institution in both 2023 and 2024, and this year achieved the distinction of being selected as the Best Institution, marking three consecutive years of outstanding performance.
The evaluation was based on 21 criteria across 12 areas, including on-site visits for cadastral civil complaints, land movement processing performance, cadastral surveying inspections, special initiatives, and exemplary cases. Yeongju City received consistently high scores in all categories.
Proactive special initiatives, such as resolving remaining parcel issues related to the local coordinate system during the global geodetic system conversion process and addressing civil complaints regarding land movement adjustments, were highly praised.
Additionally, the city was recognized for significantly reducing inconvenience for citizens by streamlining the civil complaint process-consolidating the previously required separate powers of attorney for cadastral surveying, development activity (land division) permits, and land movement applications into a single document.
Furthermore, Yeongju City enhanced the reliability of surveying by newly installing and systematically managing cadastral survey control points. The city also contributed to protecting citizens' property rights and providing prompt land administration services by digitizing permanent cadastral records, thereby improving administrative efficiency.
