The second expansion pack for Diablo 4, "Lord of Hatred," will be released globally on April 28 next year.
Blizzard Entertainment announced this news at The Game Awards 2025, a global awards ceremony held on December 12 (Korean time) in Los Angeles, United States.
This expansion features a campaign that will determine the fate of Sanctuary, the world of Diablo 4, introduces two powerful new classes, a major overhaul of gameplay, and a new region in Sanctuary called "Skovos." It also enhances item convenience and the crafting system, and expands build diversity with the "Spiritborn" system, which utilizes set bonuses.

Players who pre-purchase on this day will be able to play the new Paladin class immediately and receive three decorative items for World of Warcraft, which are scheduled to be released on March 3 next year. Blizzard also stated that the second new class will be revealed with the launch of Lord of Hatred in April next year.
