Tim Hortons Opens Hanam Misa Station Branch... "Opening Rush" on First Day
Brand Identity Reflected Throughout the Store
Dedicated To-Go Zone for Takeout Orders
Tim Hortons announced on December 12 that it has opened its Hanam Misa Station branch.
Located near exits 6 and 7 of Misa Station in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, the Hanam Misa Station branch is designed so that customers can intuitively experience the brand’s more than 60-year history and sensibility as soon as they enter. Even before the official opening, the store attracted significant attention due to its differentiated concept compared to existing locations, leading to an “opening rush,” with customers lining up along the street despite the winter cold.
The Hanam Misa Station branch features a “Vintage Canada” concept, incorporating Tim Hortons’ signature warmth and vintage mood throughout the interior, including lighting, materials, furniture, and decor. In addition to the spatial design, the store is the first in the country to introduce a dedicated to-go zone for takeout customers, allowing them to conveniently order and pick up without entering the store.
To celebrate the opening, Tim Hortons is offering exclusive special promotions at the Hanam Misa Station branch. Customers who spend over 15,000 won through the mobile app “Tims Order” will receive a mug featuring the iconic Tim Hortons logo, while those who order over 10,000 won at the kiosk will be given a limited-edition reusable bag in the brand’s signature red with a white logo, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A Tim Hortons representative stated, “The Hanam Misa Station branch is our first store in Korea to embody the ‘Vintage Canada’ sensibility based on our long-standing heritage, allowing customers to feel Tim Hortons’ unique warmth throughout the space. As the opening rush signals the beginning of change, we will continue to offer an expanded brand experience through various concept stores that reflect our brand identity.”
