Korea Water Resources Survey Institute Carries Out Joint Labor-Management Briquette Sharing Volunteer Activity
The Korea Water Resources Survey Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) carried out a joint labor-management briquette sharing social contribution activity in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on December 8, providing support to local residents vulnerable to heating issues.

View original imageThis volunteer activity was part of the Institute's annual social contribution program and was organized with the participation of both labor and management to help alleviate the heating burden for energy-vulnerable households during the winter.
A total of 23 people participated, including the President, the head of the labor union branch, and the Secretary-General. The participants delivered and stacked a total of 1,100 briquettes for three vulnerable households, personally carrying them to each household's storage area to provide assistance.
This volunteer activity was carried out in cooperation with the Goyang Volunteer Center. The Institute explained that this social contribution activity has further strengthened the foundation for mutual cooperation with the local community.
