LH has been carrying out various cooperative projects such as improving the welfare of rural residents, regional development, expanding medical and cultural services, and building smart agriculture infrastructure.
Accordingly, next year, the county will focus on regions with aging populations and declining demographics, as well as those with underdeveloped cultural environments. The goal is to attract external visitors through various cultural experience events and performances, thereby alleviating the risk of regional extinction and contributing to the revitalization of the local economy. As a result, Imsil County has been finally selected for the cooperative project.
LH will invest 75 million won from the Rural-Urban Win-Win Cooperation Fund into this project to expand cultural and artistic programs and cultural infrastructure. The county will handle regional promotion and administrative support, while the Imsil Pilbong Nongak Preservation Association, a national intangible heritage organization, will carry out cultural and artistic projects reflecting the unique characteristics of the region.
